A seminar of Kazakhstan Hasadim medical program members was successfully held in "Nauriz" sanatorium in Almaty. Representatives of Kazakhstan Jewish community; Svetlana Byvalkevitch, a CIS Medical Group curator (Odessa); Sergey Kallistov, a Medical Equipment Loan Service curator (Minsk) and Vilena Havkina, "Home Care" program curator (Snt. Petersburg) took part in that meeting.


   Medical program leaders of 11 Hasadim has actively and with great interest represented works of their departments, accompanying speeches with numbers and photo reports. Great interest from the side of seminar participants was evoked by the discussion of "The evaluation of program work quality", offered by Svetlana Bivalkevitch. A lecture "Modern approach towards rehabilitation equipment loan", delivered by Sergey Kallistov helped medical workers understand a lot of things, and they told they would be engaged in that program with great interest. Lessons, conducted by Larisa Poltavskaya on the subjects "Medical ethics in Torah" and "Autumn holidays" were discussed nor less vividly. Medical program workers expressed their wish to continue study of that sphere of knowledge."


   A lecture "Problems of losses" together with the film, demonstrated by psychologist Irina Zaltzman, was warmly met by participants. Having filled in final questionnaires, medical workers marked their wish to continue study this subject.


   Medical program volunteers also took part in the seminar. And there was a Rosh-Ha-Shannah holiday table laid especially for them.
