Women's Club "Ruth"

  Women's Club gathers women of different age and professions, and helps women to solve many problems. They can get consultations of psychologists and cosmetologists, meet with interesting women and many other types of activity. One of the most important aspects of the work is participation in renewal of Jewish tradition in Almaty Jewish Community.

  Torah studying groups are working for those who want to know more about the cradle of Jews and Jewish tradition. There are two groups: for beginners and for intermediate students.

  Hebrew courses

  Yakov Bronshtein - an experienced teacher of Hebrew and Yiddish is giving Hebrew classes for advanced speakers. Vika Papanova is hold the group of beginners.

  Musical ensemble "Nekhama"

  The ensemble has been performing on different Jewish holydays for the last few years. It got its tender Jewish name in 1999. It has more than 700 songs in Hebrew, Russian and Yiddish in its repertoire. There are only 7 people participating in it, and people always enjoy their songs and listen to them with a sinking heart.
