The Jewish library
works every day. It receives books from the Republican Jewish Library and from
local sources. Also people immigrating to other countries present their books
to the Community Center. Because of that Jewish people of any age in Aktobe
have a chance to get information about Jewish history, culture, literature and
traditions.
People who want to study their native language, Jewish national songs,
and dances can do this in a family, women or children clubs. People socialize;
celebrate Shabbat and other Jewish holidays (Rosh-Ha Shanah, Sukkot, Hanukkah,
and Pesach) together.
The programs in JCC are the following:

Irina Soboleva is the librarian, volunteer- Family Club, the head is Polina Savitskaya
- Women's Club "Ester", the head
is Marina Vikhlyayeva
- Family chorus of national music is under the direction of Tatyana Novitskaya
- Youth music ensemble "Hatikva"
