In the Pesah’s threshold the most important attribute of a holiday - matza arrives to all cities of the Republic of Kazakhstan. Matza will be given to all regions, beginning from the city of Almaty, and will be distributed free of charge to each member of the Jewish community. Spirit of a holiday, consecration of its precepts are already close.

However all this would be impossible without the aid of the Euroasian Jewish Congress. EAJC provided matza to Jewish people of the Republic of Kazakhstan, and thanks to EAJC Jews of the Republic of Kazakhstan will have Jewish holiday kosher and correct. Certainly, it should be noted huge work on reception, distribution to the cities, to the periphery and to the people done by the director of Hesed of Almaty Inessa Chugaynova and the head of the Food program Evgenia Babakina.

We express huge gratitude to EAJC on behalf of the Jewish community of the Republic of Kazakhstan for generous gift and the help in precept observance.

Matza is not simply festive dish. It is the symbol of Pesah, a symbol of freedom and a unification of the Jewish people which those far bible days left the Egyptian slavery – not on the single, but all together. And today we see that this unification remains.
