On May 2-4 the annual World forum organized in Washington by the American Jewish committee (AJC), the oldest and one of the most authoritative Jewish organizations of the USA, actively acting on the international scene and protecting not only interests of Israel and the Jewish communities, but also human rights and democratic values took place.

The Republic of Kazakhstan at the Forum was represented by the president of Association of the Jewish organizations of the Republic of Kazakhstan "Mitsva" Alexander Baron. Within an international meeting of representatives of the Jewish communities of 50 countries of the world Alexander Baron told about "Mitsva's" activity in Kazakhstan and communal life of Jews of our country. Achievements of the Jewish community of the Republic of Kazakhstan were highly noted among representatives of other countries, and thanks to active work our country and our community participates in international meetings as equals for a long time.
