From January 29 till January 31 seminar for the coordinators of children's social programs was holding on a theme: "Work with families having the children - invalids and children, suffering by chronic diseases".

The social workers and coordinators of the children's social programs from all Hasadim of Kazakhstan and representatives of Jewish community centre (JCC) of Tashkent arrived. As Eugenie Tartakovski, the representative of Joint from Israel, the coordinator of the children's social programs, led the seminar.

The seminar was begun from the lecture of doctor-psychiatrist Irina Zaltsman. The main expert of the Department on Protection of the Rights of Children Mukhamedsadikova told about the history of legal and legislative base on protection of children rights. She gave information about kinds of aids for children-invalids in our republic.

Later Centre of Complex Rehabilitation "Kenes" showed presentation about activity of the centre, the technique of work with the children-invalids. They work with the guys stage by stage, at first they pass beginnings of self-service, then they are trained by simple household businesses, and on a final stage - social-labour training. As the programs the centre widely uses art-therapy (drawing, modeling), agro-therapy (work in a hothouse), work with pets, motion programs.

In lecture of Eugenie Tartakovski about psychological features of families having children invalids and AIDS-children it was told about many problems rising before the patients people, their families and social workers. Such questions as the treatment of the patient to his disease were considered; if the man is sick, whether he would inform surrounding? What does it mean "social help"?

During three days seminar the round table was organized, on which the theme of interaction of the Hesed programs with the children's social programs was discussed. The painful questions and joint area of activity were discussed. It was emphasized that the flexible individual approach to each child is very important at cut budget.

Having summary, it would like to note that a lot of new, and main: useful information sounded at the seminar. The participants, departing to houses, took away with themselves new, acquired experience and knowledge, which will help them to work with children.
