 The members of the Jewish community of Kostanay - L. Meerov, Roman Rubinstein, J.L Peskin, Peter Rubinstein, were invited in city akimat, where the meeting of the veterans of Great Patriotic War of city was held.
In a banquet hall the celebratory concert passed. In performance of amateur and professional collectives the songs of military years sounded. Then Akim of city congratulated the visitors having expressed to the veterans gratitude for peace "today", which they have presented to offspring. After the end of an official part, the holiday has moved in a drawing room, where the dinner expected the visitors.
 The memorable souvenir was handed to each veteran, being at the meeting. The impressions about a holiday, fathers of the Jewish community shared with the friends on the past Kabbalat Shabbat in Hesed. The veterans also recollected the military youth, about the relatives
who have lost in war, about that some of them, met the front friends in Hesed.
