Êíèãè Community Festival of the Jewish Book is held annually
in many cities of the world. Its' purpose is to tell about the Torah,
which is the main book of Jewish people.The Torah became the base of the
three world religions - Judaism, Christianity & Islam. Its' plots
served the source of inspiration for Shakespear & Sholom-Aleihem,
for Mozart & Bakh & many other figures whose creative works comprise
the treasury of the world culture.
Veneration of the Word, worship of the Book of books - the
Torah are the main property of Jewish people, the source of their mental
strength. Jews who were banished from their native land 2000 years ago
& diffused all over the world, who were exposed to the cruel racial
discrimination & persecutions, who survived the Catastrophe, were
able not only to hold out as the united people but also to achieve the
revival of their Motherland. Jewish strong love to the Torah always went
with deep respect to books that bring us light, knowledge, happiness.
That's why the holding of Community Festival of the Jewish Book is the
great event for the representatives of Jewish people.
The Festival is hold in the all big cities of Kazakhstan.
