Musicologist Marina Pinevich visited Literature and Music
Club of the Republican Jewish Library on 14 March 2002. She read a lecture
dedicated to the composer Felix Mendelson, who is known by everybody as
the author of "Wedding March". The lecture was really interesting
and was accompanied by Mendelson's musical compositions, which we haven't
heard before. Everybody listened with a great interest. In summary people
expressed their desire to continue lectures about other Jewish musicians
and other composers.
