The meeting with Israeli professor Solomon Vaisburd was unexpected
but very pleasant. It took place on 24 September in Literature Club in
Hesed Polina.
Professor Vaisburd is a big specialist in physical chemistry,
and also he is a writer. His w book named "Through the ages and countries"
about some dramatic events in the history of the world culture will be
published very soon, and it includes: Jewish History, literature, theatre,
art, music and the history of science.
The writer was very surprised with the high level of the
audience, big number of books in the library and saturated intellectual
life of Jewish Community.
During the meeting Solomon Vaisburd told about the role of
Jewish people in development of world science and art; the audience was
listening to him with a great interest.
