Regardless of the fact that Hesed
Polina is the biggest in Kazakhstan, it is not the only organization that
takes care of Jews. It has a number of following branch offices, which are pretty
famous now and also try to help to the elderly and needy: Hesed
Astana, Hesed Miriam
(Karaganda), Hesed Shimon
(Shymkent). Hesed Sara in Aktobe
City, Hesed Faina in Ust-Kamenogorsk
City, Hesed Efraim in Petropavlovsk
City started working in 2000. Hesed
Rachel work in Pavlodar City. Three new Hasadim was opened in 2001 in Uralsk
City, Taraz City and Kokshetau
City. 2002 has started by the opening one more Hesed in the Kostanay
City.
