This program is extremely important for the clients living in
the region with a long and severe winter season (about 5 months). It is meant
to help the clients adapt for the cold winter conditions. On the basis of criteria
the clients receive winter relief in the form of warm clothing (jackets, hats
etc) and footwear (high shoes and boots). The Hesed assists those living in
their private houses to purchase coal and firewood. Public utilities are also
partly paid by the program. These measures help our clients to live a better
life in this uneasy time.
