Mobile Hesed is a program supporting the minimum standard
living; it repeats all the programs of JCC and Hesed for Jewish people
living in periphery. The program workers can find needy people in 200
kilometers from the nearest Heseds. Bad climate, complicated economical
situation in the country and unemployment make people in periphery live
under living standard. Mobile Hesed helps elderly people with meals and
medical service, and at the same time to renew their Jewish roots, traditions
and the history.
Very often Warm Homes located in small villages become Social
Clubs. Heads of Warm Homes feed needy Community members and celebrate
Shabbat together. People come there to know the news of Jewish World,
to read brought papers and magazines, get books ordered before in the
Community library.
