Simashko was a school teacher, military pilot, reporter in several newspapers,
a member of Kazakhstan Writers' Union, and the head of Kazakh pen club
together with A. Nurpeisov. He was a national writer and laureate of President's
peace and accord award. He was nominated for Nobel Prize in literature.
Thanks to his truthful books, he will always remain in the
history of Kazakhstan.
