Hesed
carried out a very serious spadework to make the holiday successful. Volunteer
V. Fleitlikh told about Pesach traditions on Jewish history and traditions
classes.
The class in Family Club was the next step in preparations for
the holiday. Parents, grandmothers and children came to the House of the World
Friendship to play the game "Wonderfield". The players solved the
words related to Pesach celebration. As is the convention three threes: children,
youth and parents. The winners got their sweet prizes. The prizes in final game
were the most tasteful. The audience and fans demonstrated their knowledge and
also got sweet prizes.
With the help of Israeli Udi Grossman and Hagi Rott helped to
arrange Pesach Seder in Semipalatinsk City. The holiday was conducted in a rented
canteen. Before Seder started Pesach music was being heard; when women lit candles
people started singing Pesach Songs.
Seder was conducted according to the traditions: kosher food was
cooked and people drank kosher wine. Leonid Reznikov the Chairman of Jewish
Community, Tatyana Okisheva coordinator of Sokhnut Agency and Faina Hesed employee
Tamara Sattarova celebrated Jewish Community with the Holiday.
Everybody had "Pesach Agada" on the table; and people
not only followed Seder but also took an active part in it.
97 members of the Semipalatinsk City Community participated in
Pesach.
In Ust-Kamenogorsk City Seder was conducted in the restaurant
Ust-Kamenogorsk. 320 people of Jewish Community gathered in decorated hall.
For the first time the envoys of Israel and representatives of Sokhnut in the
Republic of Kazakhstan conducted Seder. Everybody like in Semipalatinsk City
had the book "Pesach Agada" on the tables to follow Seder order. All
to gather sang Pesach songs, said prayers and read Pesach Agada one after another.
Vladimir Lebedev the Director of Hesed Faina, Naum Stuchevskiy
the Chairman of the Board and Jacob Rotman the Head of Sokhnut Agency in Kazakhstan
celebrated everybody with the Holiday.
In closing Seder people sang in chorus "Leshana a baa bi
Yerushlaim" and national Israeli anthem to the accompaniment of keyboard
instruments and the violin.
The new songs were performed at the holiday concert by: Hesed
soloists Irina Khardina, Jacob Kertsman, Youth vocal group and children vocal
group "Feigele". Children sang in a really touching way: "Eliyagu",
"Dayenu" and "The promised land".
It can be said very confidently that Pesach will be remembered
in Semipalatinsk and Ust-Kamenogorsk Cities.
